Here are some General Herbal Resources on the Web.
- Grieve's Herbal A Modern Herbal, first published in 1931, by Mrs. M. Grieve, contains Medicinal, Culinary, Cosmetic and Economic Properties, Cultivation and Folk-Lore of Herbs.
- Culpeper's Herbal Takes a long time to download because of all the frames. Be patient. This herbal caused an uproar in the medical community when it was first published in 1649. It was the first English Herbal and the doctors were upset because Culpeper made knowledge of herbs available to anyone who could read English. Prior to this Herbals were in Latin or Greek.
- Beautiful watercolor paintings of herbs are found at
