- Archaeology of Ancient Ireland. Well written, readable overview of Irish archaeology.
- Book of Leinster, also called the Book of the Invasions or the Lebor Gabala Erenn. Read the original in translation. The Book of Leinster, written in about 1150 A.D., is one of the most important source documents of Irish Myth. This translation, with some variant readings readings from another source document, the Book of Formoy, is from the Irish Texts Society, First redaction.
- Cauldron of Poesy by Erynn Rowan Laurie. During the 7th century CE, an Irish fili or sacred poet composed a poem on one of the mysteries of the Irish wisdom tradition. This poem is preserved in a 16th century manuscript, along with the glosses in 11th century language explaining some of its more obscure references. When it was finally "discovered" by modern scholars, it was named "The Cauldron of Poesy" for its references to poetry being created.
- Cave Burials in Britain. In prehistoric Britain early agricultural communities deposited their dead in communal, highly visible locations such as chambered tombs, barrows and burial cairns. Less well known, but numerically as important as these monumental burial locations, are natural caves, fissures and rock shelters, more than 100 of which are known to have served as makeshift mortuary structures in prehistoric times.

NOTE: This is a LEGENDARY chronology and not to be confused with actual historical events.
- Heroic Romances of Ireland by A. H. Leahy in Two Volumes Scanned at www.sacred-texts.com, November-February 2000.
These two books are scholarly translations of Irish legends. Although many of the stories in these books center around cattle raids, they have numerous supernatural incidents and remnants of pre-Christian religious beliefs.

- M. Macha Nightmare I'm a Witch at Large living in the shadow of Mount Tamalpais (the Sleeping Lady) in Marin County, California, when I'm not off on my broomstick gathering with other Witches one place or another.
About the name - it's NightMare - capital "M" in the middle - mare who rides through your dreams. Its my "nom de broom," just as legal as my mundane name. I'm well aware of how outrageous it is. Believe me, it's not easy to wear, but there it is.
