The Oak Grove: Ogham Masters Program
The Oak Grove Ogham Masters' Program is designed to give you a deeper understanding of the Oghams and also give you the tools you need to continue your own research and study in years to come. This is not an easy program. While we do delve into some of the personal spiritual aspects of the Oghams the program is more scholarly in nature than many offered on-line. If you are looking for a program that goes beyond the Tree Calendar and pop-Pagan methods of Ogham Divination, this is the program for you. If your Ogham studies to date have left you feeling there must be more, here it is.
The SCS Oak Grove Ogham Masters' Program is based on Medieval sources, archaelogical evidence, and surviving folklore. This is an in-depth study of what the Oghams really were, how our Celtic ancestors used them, and how we may use them in authentic ways to deepen our ancestral connections. If you like to learn and grow, to stretch your mind and spirit, it is likely this program will suit you.
All Society of Celtic Shamans programs are ON-LINE. Our classroom is ON-LINE. You will need to access your lessons ON-LINE. If you are not COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE with working ON-LINE please do not register for any of our programs.
If you are planning to enter the Faery Shamans Apprenticeship Program and you plan to take only one pre-qualifying program, take the Hazel Grove. It will be a better foundation for your apprenticeship work.

- The Oak Grove does NOT teach ritual magic, witchcraft, drumming, runelore, necromancy, exorcism, channeling, mediumship, past-life regression, hypnotism, freemasonry, fortune-telling, astrology, geomancy, or anything other than the Celtic traditions and lore associated with the sacred Celtic letters we call the Oghams.
- We do not teach people how to be psychic.
- We do not teach core shamanism.
- We do not teach or promote British-Israelism/Anglo-Israelism or support the Identity Movement in any way, shape, or form.
- Out of respect for the spiritual values of other peoples - we do not teach the traditions of the North, Central, or South American First Nations, Australian Aboriginies, Siberian Shamans, or of any other ethnic or cultural group.
If you wish to learn about Celtic spiritual traditions, history, culture, and myths you may find the Oak Grove to your liking. If you are mainly interested in witchcraft, fortune-telling, Native American traditions, or core shamanism you will not like the Oak Grove.

If I am accepted into the Oak Grove Ogham Masters Program what will be expected of me?
Oak Grove Ogham Masters students are expected to:
- Maintain the highest ethical standards as stated in the Faery Shamans Code of Ethics
- Participate in a meaningful way in the study group
- Respect the other members of our on-line community
- Pay their tuitions in the manner described

Why should I enroll in the Oak Grove Ogham Masters Program?
Because you have a true and deep-seated desire to learn more about the path of the Celtic Shaman.
As one of the Oak Folk you gain access to restricted areas of our website, including all the Oak Grove study pages. In addition you are allowed to join a very special e-list, The_Oak_Grove@yahoogroups.com, the study group of the Oak Grove Ogham Masters Program. This group is for folks, like you, who want to learn more about the Celtic Tradition - who want to teach others what they have learned about the ancient paths walked by our Ancestors - who want to share their spiritual journey with others who are on the same path. Whether you are new to the Faery Faith or an 'old hand' you will find your way easier and your path brighter if you share it with others. BACK
Why do you want me to fill out a form?
The shaman's path is one of wisdom, power and beauty. Those who undertake to walk it must be truly dedicated and inspired. This is not a course of studies to be undertaken lightly or out of mere curiosity. When you fill out the form you are doing the following:
- Providing our Moderator with some information about yourself
- Entering into certain agreements with the SCS, which protect you and the Society
- Agreeing to abide by the Faery Shaman's Code of Ethics, which protects you and all our relations in this and Otherworlds

What about my privacy?
Neither the Society of Celtic Shamans nor any of its officers or trustees will ever give, sell, trade, exhange or in any way or under any conditions transmit the information on your registration form to anyone - ever. BACK
How much is the tuition fee?
The tuition fees for the Oak Grove Ogham Masters Program are $135 for the twelve month program. There are no other fees or chages and no books for you to buy.

When will my Oak Grove Ogham Masters Program begin?
When we receive your $135 tuition fee you will be contacted within twenty-four hours. In that message you will be given all the details of when your program will start. Generally speaking, we start new students' in their programs around the 15th of each month. Should we fail to contact you within 48 hours after you have completed your enrolment, please contact us.
