Some months ago I asked Theo Changeling if she would be willing to visit one or two of her favorite hills in Britain and send me some pictures for this issue of Earthsongs. Little did I expect that she and her partner Phil would mount major expeditions throughout Britain in pursuit of sacred hillsites.

The result of their generosity is our wonderful Lughnasadh cover and the even more wonderful, fully illustrated article The Sacred Hills of Neolithic Britain these two talented people have created for you, gentle reader.

Phil Costelloe would like to spend half the year fishing salmon with his paws from wild mountain streams and the other half asleep in a cave. The reality is that he works in IT and spends weekends walking ancient paths with Theo. Oh, and he's a vegetarian so the salmon's probably a bit of a non-starter anyway.

Theo G. Tigger (Changeling) is an apprentice faery shaman and a healer, a changeling and a teacher. Raised in the shadow of the moorlands of Lancashire, she now makes her home amongst the groves and ridges of southern Oxfordshire. Her favourite colour is pink, her favourite cordial is elderflower, her favourite car is a vermillion 1978 MGB GT and her favourite bird croaks contemptuously.
