In 2007, Karen Sawyer approached me regarding a book she was working on. Karen was putting together a collection of conversations with wisdom keepers worldwide. She asked me if I would be willing to participate in the project and I gladly agreed. After many months of hard work the book Soul Companions is now published and on the shelves. Because I am among the contributors to this remarkable book, I am not in a position to write an arm's length review, but I do think everyone who has any interest in "things unseen" and the life of the spirit will be enriched by reading this book.

A word from the author...

As our world rapidly moves towards ever-greater spiritual, environmental and political challenges there is an urgent need for us to listen to the voices of well-respected healers, seers, visionaries and shamans who can share their wisdom, insights and leadership to inspire and guide us to make our planet a healthier, more peaceful and equitable place to live.

Thus my intention when I set out to write Soul Companions (... published in March 2008 by O-Books) was to gather many of these Wisdom-Keepers from around the world to talk about the 'invisible' dimensions of Spirit realms that exist all around us.

The isolation of life as we perceive it to be is an illusion. Whether we are conscious of it or not, there are many dimensions of existence overlapping and permeating the world as we know it. ‘It’ is part of us and we are part of ‘it’ – we are never alone because we are all-one. Every one of us – whatever nation, race, religion or belief – has spirit helpers that guide us on our journey through life.

My reasoning is that EVERYTHING has a life-force, spirit, essence, or soul. It is time that we acknowledged and honored this.

We are alive at a fascinating time in human history. I believe that the ‘veil between the worlds’ is being drawn aside like curtains. Our perception of the world is expanding to encompass other energies in alternative dimensions. Daily interaction with the no-longer-invisible realms of Spirit will soon become the norm...
