OUR EDITORS
Maggie Frost is a Copy Editor for Elder Grove Press. She is also a Copy Editor for Body Mind Spirit Magazine. An English major, her career began by apprenticing in the display section of a major department store, making signs and show-cards, then graduating to hand-setting lead type-fonts in the printing shop. A dedicated perfectionist, she delights in the intricacies and subtle nuances of the English language.
Over the years, Maggie has worked with many well-known authors, including D.J. Conway, Tira Brandon-Evans and Jeni Mayer. She has done proof-reading, editing, and layout in many varied areas: e.g. Salmo & District Hospice Society, West Kootenay Therapeutic Riding Association, the Pagan Grove Society, and The Salmo Newspaper. Maggie is also a published author in her own right, having written articles for many newspapers and magazines, including Body/Mind/Spirit and B.C. Sports Fishing, and has done numerous book-reviews for Llewellyn Publishing.

Tira Brandon-Evans is Founder and Moderator of the Society of Celtic Shamans, Publisher of Elder Grove Press, and author of many books and articles on Celtic tradition.
Tira is an historian and scholar who has spent twenty years researching Celtic history, folklore, and mythology. She has also studied the shamanic and healing traditions of many other cultures. She holds a Chartered Herbalist designation from Dominion Herbal College.
For several years Tira taught creative writing and writing the novel at the University College of the Fraser Valley. Tira Brandon-Evans is a regular contributor to Earthsongs: Journal of the Society of Celtic Shamans and Spirithunter Magazine. Her articles have also appeared in Seasons Magazine and Body, Mind, Spirit.

Joanna Powell Colbert is an artist and writer known internationally for her Goddess portraits and mythic art. Her artwork and writing appears regularly in the magazines SageWoman and PanGaia as well as many other alternative publications. She has written columns on nature-based spirituality for SageWoman, and will be writing a column on Tarot beginning with the Winter 02-03 issue. In 1992 she helped revive The Beltane Papers: A Journal of Women’s Mysteries, and served as its Managing Editor for four years, co-creating the magazine with Helen Farias, Waverly Fitzgerald and a wildly creative collective of women.
