A Shaman's Path
It is what we can touch
It is more than
What we feel
It is not blind air
But zephyrs
Sweet and pure
It is not asking us
To be obedient
Blindly
Or altruistically good
It shows us
The consequences,
Demonstrates the energy,
And the decision
Of our actions is ours
It is a simple equation
When you stop
And look at the sky
For a moment or so
It is a simple sequence
Of logic
About energies flow
This although
Is not meant for those
Who wish not to think
Who wish not to take time
To come to their own conclusions
Make their own decisions
And understand their actions
Create ripples in the pond
This is just fine
Their path to the divine
Is just as valid
As mine
But I choose this one
This path
That gives me the option of my
Actions
And allows me to see
As an individual.
