Q: Can I buy the book and do the 12 Journeys on my own?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you accept everyone into the 12 Journeys Program?
A: No. This is an advanced program. You need to complete the first year of the Faery Shamans' Apprenticeship Program to be eligible to participate in the 12 Journeys Program.

Q: What do you do for me if I enter the 12 Journeys Program?
A: Every month, once a month, for twelve months I go into a shamanic trance and contact my ancestor guide who shows me the journey of initiation he has arranged for you. I inform you of this journey, confirm your 'departure' date, and stand by Inworld during your journey.

When my ancestor guide gives me your journey he shows me the sign by which I shall know you completed your journey. You are expected to write an account of your journey as soon as you return and send it to me by e-mail.

When you send me the account of your journey I carefully read and consider all that you relate. If I feel you are on the right track and going well with your journeys, I tell you so. If I feel you are not on the right track and need to alter course, I tell you so and offer you advice and counsel. If I do not see the sign I received from Grandfather Merlin in your account I will ask you to add more detail to your report. If I feel you have not completed the initiation I will tell you so and you will need to do it again.

     Point of clarity: I do not tell you what your journeys mean. I do not interpret your journeys for you. To do so would interfer with the initiations process. Initiation is highly personal. Only you can ever really know what your journeys mean. Initiation is a highly personal mystery. It is not my place to inject my thoughts, opinions and beliefs into your initiations.
     Nevertheless, I will comment on your journeys as needed. Sometimes that comment will be a heartfelt, "well done!" Sometimes I will suggest you do some research on your own, in which case I will often include links on the Internet that may help you. Sometimes I will tell you straight out you are going wrong and what you need to do get back on track.
